In the once fertile Talamh, moans of hunger permeate the air.  After the last war devastated her people, the young elf, Lark left her homeland to find her missing elder brother Orin. She crossed half a world by following tales of his deeds high and low.  Lark finds him in the lowest of places - an indentured torturer for the Crua Ciarog. To win his freedom, they are tasked with finding an ancient and magical pearl.
